Victory Point FX produced detailed maps covering areas along proposed pipeline routes in the Sahtu Settlement Region. The project involved compiling a comprehensive GIS data collection of the Sahtu, customizing cartographic representations and map elements, and developing custom GIS routines to automatically generate a series of corridor maps at 1:250,000 scale to cover the entire length of a proposed Mackenzie Valley gas pipeline route. For each of four proposed pipeline scenarios, three thematic maps were created; Land Ownership, Fish and Wildlife, and Fire History. Each map within the series featured a detailed legend, background information on all themes, and a location map.
