Working closely with author, Resource Assessment Geologist Len Gal, Victory Point FX provided GIS services for production of two maps: a comparative hydrocarbon potential map for the Sahtu and Gwich'in settlement areas; and, a map of established and conceptual hydrocarbon play areas in the Sahtu and Gwich'in settlement areas of the NWT. Work involved deriving GIS data outlining hydrocarbon plays and performing specialized spatial analysis and modeling techniques to produce hydrocarbon potential zones ranging from very high to very low.
