Working closely with author, Resource Assessment Geologist Len Gal, Victory Point FX provided GIS services for production of a hydrocarbon potential map for the Dehcho, Sahtu, Gwich’in, and mainland Inuvialuit settlement regions of the NWT. Work involved derivation of GIS data for hydrocarbon plays and performing specialized spatial analysis and modeling techniques to produce hydrocarbon potential zones ranging from very high to very low.
