Victory Point FX designed and implemented a custom GIS system to assist MVLWB with the review of land use applications and address their digital mapping requirements. The project involved performing an infrastructure review of existing GIS resources, data acquisition, spatial compilation, custom programming, interface customization, digital data conversion, training staff and system documentation. The system allows staff to enter project information for each incoming application and automatically generates a series of base maps for each application. The maps are based on MVLWB standards, contain data layers appropriate for the review of the application, and are automatically saved under the application name.
