Victory Point FX is providing ongoing GIS services to compile and map information regarding distribution, movements and stock structure of ringed seals in the Beaufort Sea. This involves creating maps from seal capture and satellite telemetry data over the last four years, and mapping potential effects of industry activity in the area. Data collected related to seal behavior, movements and density, are mapped to provide both before and after assessment of industry activity effects.
