Victory Point FX was formed in 2000 by Alan Udell to address strong demand for specialized digital mapping, video production, graphic design and software development services in Canada's north. Victory Point FX is a registered northern Canadian business based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
Alan has over 18 years of experience in GIS, CAD, programming, relational database design, 3D modeling, graphic design, animation and visual effects. He has a long record of success providing GIS, video production, and software development services for Aboriginal groups, governments, regulatory boards, and private industry in areas of environmental monitoring, land use planning, and natural resources. Alan understands the technical requirements of governments and organizations in northern Canada having worked in roles of project management, joint application design, technology architecture planning, system documentation, hardware and software purchasing, help desk, and web application deployment.
Alan is a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) under the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists (CCTT), the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists (ASET) and the Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT).
Victory Point FX is a member of Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce, a member of the NWT & Nunavut Chamber of Mines, and is an approved northern business under the NWT Business Incentive Program.
